Lucy A. Wills Tibbetts

Lucy Wills was born at Belgrade, Maine, on November 26, 1818, the daughter of James Wills, a Private of the Revolutionary War from Rhode Island. She married Hartson Tibbetts and they were parents of seven children. Her husband died in 1889, and her son, Joseph Tibbetts brought her to his home in Beatrice, Nebraska. She died March 19, 1907, at Beatrice, Gage County, Nebraska, with burial in the Beatrice Cemetery. Her grave was marked by Elizabeth Montague Chapter.
