History
Membership is open to any woman 18 years or older, who can prove lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence. She must provide documentation for each statement of birth, marriage, and death, as well as the Revolutionary War service of her patriot ancestor. Our Nebraska Lineage Committee members and Nebraska chapter registrars are eager to assist prospective members with their application papers. If you are interested in joining the DAR, please contact a chapter near you.

DAR is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education.

If you are interested in joining DAR, please contact a chapter near your home, the Nebraska membership chair, or fill out the Membership Information Request Form. We welcome all prospective members and look forward to getting to know you!
