Barbara Fishburn Noles Hood

Barbara Fishburn was born November 1, 1795, to Philip Fishburn and Henrietta Maria Coles. (Philip Fishburn's Revolutionary War service has not been proven using today's standards.) Barbara married first Jacob Noles/Knowles, and to this union eight children were born.  After his death, she married second to Judge Hood of Ohio.  In 1883, she moved to Hastings, Nebraska, residing there until her death on May 12, 1886. She is buried in Parkview Cemetery in Hastings, Adams County, Nebraska, in Section C, Row 5.  The Niobrara Chapter marked her grave site.
