Mary Cather Wood

Mary Cather Wood was born about 1806 to Jasper Cather. Her father was a Quaker.  Mary died January 5, 1894, at age 88 years.  She is buried in the GAR Section of the Grand Island Cemetery in Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska. Betsy Hager Chapter has placed a marker on the tombstone.​
